…“Chicago is a welcoming city [BANG!] and always will be [BANG! BANG!] … Forcing us to choose between our values [BANG!] and our police department’s philosophy of community policing [BANG! BANG!] … is a choice that would ultimately undermine our public safety agenda. [BANG!]”

“Undermine our public safety agenda …”?

Oh! There is one?

I don’t think it’s working. At all.

It seems that last year … in “Boot Hill by the Lake” … lots of dead people didn’t see the “Welcome to Chicago and Have a Nice Death” billboard.

So another 4,300 Chicagoans are now walking the streets of Chicago with holes in their body …  part of the city’s  “Walking Swiss Cheese” underclass.   

(I wonder who’s moppin’ up all that blood!)

This is modern liberalism … always carrying the absurd to the nth degree. Astounding everyone’s sensibilities but their own. And fully expecting all of us to nod our heads and wonder why we’re not capable of such astounding bullshit.

Here’s something to consider. 

Maybe this is one big goof. A farce. A crazy lark … gone bad.

Perhaps liberalism is now a … a national prank. An on-going, never-ending, far-out national gag. A splendid spoof gone too far.

And Rahm Emanuel is the consummate straight man. Thumbing his nose at us all. Havin’ a very fine time.

What other explanation could there be? [BANG!]

Perhaps this lapse of truth … from the mayor of Boot Hill by the Lake …
